From nearly 300 cities across the country, evaluation was based on 6 ranking factors that indicate financial climate of each city, and gives an overview of it’s demographics, the education level of the local workforce, in-city commute times, income per capita, broadband access, availability to SBA loans, and overall tax friendliness for small business.

The studies took into consideration cost of living, property value, job opportunities, night life, cultural and ethnic diversity, crime rates, climate, accessibility to other areas, education recreation and other forms of well-being.
