2020 Small Business Awards of the Year Nomination
The Small Business of the Year Awards acknowledges the success of small businesses and honors their contributions within our community. The Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce is proud to recognize five of its own Chamber members in the following categories:
- Health & Wellness
- Hospitality & Tourism
- Nonprofit Organization
- Professional Services
- Real Estate & Development
- Must be a Chamber Member.
- 100 or fewer employees
- No employee limits for nonprofits
- If you have won in the past three years you are not eligible to be nominated.
- Growth and performance
- Commitment to the community and the chamber
- Product/service innovation
- High ethical standards
- Sound business strategies and practices.
A panel of judges coordinated by the Small Business Council and community leaders evaluates nominations based on the information provided in each application. All applications and a corresponding $60 fee, which includes one admission and breakfast to the awards ceremony, must be submitted electronically by 5 p.m, April 3, 2020. Hand written forms will NOT be accepted.
Please note, only one winner per category will be awarded. Judges will also select a Small Business Person of the Year. There is no separate application for The Small Business Person of the Year, as the recipient will be selected by the judges based on the answers given in the applications.
Small business owners, who are a member of the Chamber, are highly encouraged to nominate themselves.
