Downtown Council
DRAWING SUCCESS TO DOWNTOWN FORT LAUDERDALE
The mission of the Downtown Council is to bring together businesses located in the downtown geographic area of Fort Lauderdale for the purpose of providing business development networking events and leadership on issues affecting those businesses.
The council organizes breakfasts held the fourth Thursday of each month at the Tower Club Fort Lauderdale. Each breakfast showcases different speakers who have business focuses important to our group. Typically between 75 and 100 people attend, providing for a very effective networking event.
The council supports the Broward Partnership for the Homeless by hosting an annual breakfast which raises thousands of dollars.
